Role Overview:
This Senior or Principal Drainage Engineer position is a key opportunity within our WA Civil Infrastructure team based in Perth. As we continue to experience consistent growth and strong demand for our services across highways, bridges, and rail, this role will be instrumental in driving project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead drainage design delivery on various projects from small intersection upgrades to complex billion-dollar infrastructure initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise for drainage and water quality systems, including piped networks and major transverse drainage structures.
- Coordinate and verify designs with project teams working across multiple offices.
- Drive digital work environment and delivery culture.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure overall design integrity.
Requirements & Qualifications:
You'll be an experienced civil or environmental engineer with a passion for improving quality of life. You'll pride yourself on your contribution to transforming the world around you and value teamwork.
To succeed in this role, you'll require:
- Extensive experience in drainage design for civil infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated self-management skills; ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes.
- Experience working on projects with Main Roads WA / PTA or similar authorities.
- Proven skills with drainage software such as 12D and DRAINS.
- Desire to work collaboratively in a high-performing team environment.
- Hydrology and hydraulic modeling experience using Tuflow highly regarded.
Compensation: The estimated annual salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 AUD, reflecting the senior level of expertise and responsibility required. This figure is reflective of industry standards for professionals with relevant experience in Western Australia.
