Key Responsibilities- Career Counselling: Provide personalized career counselling sessions to workers, assessing their skills, interests, and aspirations to identify suitable employment opportunities.
- Job Placement: Assist workers in exploring job options, searching for suitable vacancies, and preparing job applications, resumes, and cover letters tailored to their abilities and experience.
- Skill Development: Assist workers in enhancing their employability through the refinement of resume writing, interview techniques, and job search strategies.
- Employer Liaison: Establish and maintain positive relationships with employers to promote job opportunities for workers, advocating for inclusive hiring practices and facilitating job placements.
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of workers, maintaining accurate records of their progress, employment outcomes, and communication with stakeholders.
- Support Services: Coordinate and/or complete additional support services as needed, such as retraining, vocational assessments, and workplace accommodations to facilitate successful employment transitions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, rehabilitation specialists, and insurance providers, to ensure a holistic approach to the workers' recovery and return to work.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes related to workplace rehabilitation and incorporate new knowledge and techniques into service delivery.
