Program Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a specialist integrated program for adult survivors of child sexual abuse with complex needs. The Program Manager will be responsible for overarching program leadership, strategic management, implementation, governance, business planning, risk and budget management, stakeholder engagement and coordination.

The role will provide advanced leadership and high-quality project management to ensure that the objectives of this innovative new integrated program are met. This role will not provide direct services to clients.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline; and/or significant work experience in violence, abuse and neglect, trauma informed care, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and/or complex project management.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and ability to work autonomously to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, and lead change.
  • Demonstrated advanced level project management skills, including proficiency in software required to prepare complex and clearly communicated plans, implementation support documents and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve program outcomes.
  • Maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including Ministry of Health, senior management, project team partners, consumers and other key stakeholders.
  • Managing complex health and/or community service-related projects and change initiatives to achieve planned outcomes.
