Expert in Autonomous Systems

We are seeking motivated and versatile graduates to join our team as experts in autonomous systems.

The program is designed to provide opportunities to gain experience and develop specialist knowledge in working alongside leading mining companies to optimise system performance and safe autonomous operation.

  • 6-month intensive training program based out of our Perth Office
  • Structured learning and coursework
  • Coaching with a balanced approach to technical and professional development in customer support
  • On-the-job learning while contributing to technical projects
  • Visits to customer sites

Upon successful completion, you will transition to a FIFO, DIDO or Shift Roster to continue your development through on-the-job learning.

As an Expert in Autonomous Systems, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting MineStar Command system availability and maximising system performance
  • Measuring, benchmarking and reporting on system performance, and suggesting opportunities for improvement
  • Becoming a trusted advisor for the customer through close collaboration internally and externally
  • Maintaining safe performance of the system

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Tertiary qualification in Engineering or closely related field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional time management
  • Advanced level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • A manual Driver's license or willingness to obtain one
