Development Assessment Planner Job Description

This is a highly skilled role that requires the ability to evaluate proposals and ensure compliance with local environmental plans, development control plans, and NSW planning legislation.

  • Evaluate proposals to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Provide recommendations and reports for council decision-making or delegated approvals.
  • Consult with stakeholders on planning matters.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Urban/Town Planning or equivalent, as well as minimum 3+ years experience in a Development Assessment Planning position or equivalent.
