Export Compliance Specialist

We are seeking skilled professionals with Defence or Defence industry experience to support complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.

Our team delivers critical Defence projects that protect Australia and shape its future. We work closely with Australian Defence and other 3rd parties to provide expert guidance and solutions.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the Defence or consulting services industries, with strong understanding of Australian export control laws and international trade compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to Australian export control laws and international regulations
  • Prepare, submit and manage export applications and records of transactions and approvals
  • Provide expert guidance and solutions working closely with Australian Defence and other 3rd parties
  • Identify, assess and resolve export compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience ideally within the Defence or consulting services industries
  • Strong understanding of Australian export control laws and international trade compliance frameworks (e.g. ITAR or EAR)
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex regulatory requirements to diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrate high precision in managing documentations, licenses and compliance records to reduce legal and operational risks
