Product Security Analyst

As a key member of our Cybersecurity Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring and analyzing network traffic and event logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or ICT, with formal qualifications and industry experience preferred. You will be working as part of a team responsible for implementing information security requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and Analyzing network traffic and event logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Assisting in Continuous monitoring and assessment of security control coverage and effectiveness.
  • Performing Vulnerability assessments and audits to identify weaknesses and recommending appropriate security measures.
  • Managing or Supporting Incident response activities and post-incident analysis.

You will be joining a dynamic environment that values innovation and collaboration. The role is based onsite at our Williamtown facility, and remote work arrangements are not available due to security clearance requirements.

To succeed in this role, you must stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and be able to quickly identify security issues. Industry-recognized information security qualification is preferable and/or relevant experience.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements. Holding, or being able to achieve, a minimum of NV1 clearance is required; NV2 clearance will be necessary.
