Our Opportunity

Star Group is offering an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate who is motivated to further their career with a Tier 1 electrical, communications, and maintenance contractor. We are looking for an experienced and qualified Electrician to join our Northern Region Team.

Project Scope

BAE is redeveloping its Williamtown facility to deliver enhanced service to the aviation industry. The Williamtown facility is an existing site located adjacent to Newcastle Airport, comprising:

  • Aircraft Hangars
  • Carpark
  • Office-Administration areas
  • Warehouse & Storage areas

The Qualifications & Experience We Are Seeking

  • General LV power reticulation experience
  • Previous experience in defence projects or related Justice department buildings (asset)
  • Valid Electrical Licence and trade qualifications (Essential)
  • Valid Driver's Licence to attend sites and operate a service van
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with an ability to build relationships
  • Experience working in a commercial environment and adhering to safety standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support team members
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work with attention to detail
