The role of a Compassionate Care Provider is to deliver high-quality care to residents in an aged care setting, as delegated by the Clinical Lead or Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the delivery of person-centred care to residents in compliance with established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide individualised care that respects each resident's identity, culture, and diversity.
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Manage basic continence requirements of residents as per individual care plans.
- Complete care and documentation to support Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) assessments as delegated.
- Report incidents, abnormal observations, or unusual circumstances for any resident.
- Participate in person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents.
- Undertaking a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience within an aged care environment is preferred.
- Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service focus.
