Compassionate Care Provider

The role of a Compassionate Care Provider is to deliver high-quality care to residents in an aged care setting, as delegated by the Clinical Lead or Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of person-centred care to residents in compliance with established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide individualised care that respects each resident's identity, culture, and diversity.
  • Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Manage basic continence requirements of residents as per individual care plans.
  • Complete care and documentation to support Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) assessments as delegated.
  • Report incidents, abnormal observations, or unusual circumstances for any resident.
  • Participate in person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Undertaking a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience within an aged care environment is preferred.
  • Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service focus.
