About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants in the Shepparton and surrounding areas.
Your Everyday
- As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, you will work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
- You will utilize assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.
- You will build meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
- You will develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilizing positive behaviour support framework.
- You will conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
- You will collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
- You will attend weekly team meetings in the Hub, sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs.
- You will tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.

Requirements
- You must be deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
- You must have a minimum of 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- You must have a relevant tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field).
