Professional and Financial Lines Claims Manager

The role of a Professional and Financial Lines Claims Manager involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of claims to deliver exceptional results in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Manage a portfolio of professional and financial lines claims from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes
  • Determine coverage, legal liability, and quantum issues associated with each claim
  • Collaborate with external service providers, including solicitors, to ensure effective case management
  • Maintain accurate and realistic reserves/estimates for all claims, closely monitoring significant fluctuations
  • Provide recommendations to relevant stakeholders regarding claims processes above approved delegation levels

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience managing professional indemnity and financial lines claims
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or insurance would be highly regarded
