About this role

As a retail customer service professional, you'll play a key part in supporting Australians with their business needs, fostering community connections and resilience.

Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through sales and service transactions.
  • Manage high-value transactions accurately, handling cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS.
  • Process identity services transactions, including passport interviews.
  • Promote products and services via up-selling and cross-selling activities.
  • Support customers with mail lodgements and associated costs.
  • Build strong relationships by understanding customer needs.
  • Contribute to administrative tasks such as stock management and record maintenance.

  • You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, thriving in a team environment.
  • You're committed to putting the customer at the heart of everything you do, making a positive impact in the community.
  • Bring experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
  • Be physically able to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
