About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Duratec Australia.

As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing remediation projects from initial setup through to completion.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements, effective cost control, and efficient running of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage remediation projects from initial setup through to completion
  • Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
  • Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
  • Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
  • Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
  • Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
  • Involvement with tendering/estimation
  • Create and modify ITP's and SWMS
  • Raise RFI's and track responses
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive project management and delivery skills, including budgeting, coordinating work priorities, cost control, stakeholder management, subcontractor management, documentation, statutory approvals.

You will also require strong leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities, as well as tertiary qualifications in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management.

A high level of understanding and appreciation for safety is essential, along with strong commercial acumen and solid programming and planning skills.

Experience in a similar role within a Contractor environment is preferred, and you must be adaptable and flexible to travel around the ACT Region.
