About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team at BHP Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to our third-party logistics partners to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods across our Copper SA operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing performance and safety metrics for third-party logistics partners
  • Working closely with BHP stakeholders to build continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting general freight Off Site Receipting, bulk storage of materials, and transportation of goods across Copper SA
  • Leading safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with BHP's safety policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with Warehouse and Transport teams to build relationships with end users and share best practices
  • Assisting with quality audits and surveys for bulk products
  • Providing coaching and development opportunities for team members

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management. Key requirements include:

  • Extensive experience in SAP and RLM
  • Good understanding of transport legislation requirements, including NBHVR and basic fatigue management
  • Experience in supply chain, warehouse, and transport operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
