Job Summary:
Our organization seeks an experienced payroll professional to oversee the payroll function, ensuring timely and accurate payments in alignment with Awards, EBAs, employment contracts, and statutory obligations. This role requires a strong understanding of PAYG, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation regulations across Australia and New Zealand.
- Payroll Function Management: Supervise the entire payroll process, guaranteeing correct, timely payments that adhere to Awards, EBAs, employment contracts, and statutory requirements.
- Financial Prudence: Oversee payroll journals, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure precise financial data and audit preparedness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries across IDP AU & NZ, providing responsive and informed assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer complex payroll operations for both Australia and New Zealand.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including PAYG, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation regulations.
- Develop and implement efficient payroll processes and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including payroll journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Deliver exceptional stakeholder engagement by promptly responding to payroll-related queries in a clear and informative manner.
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of PAYG, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation regulations across Australia and New Zealand.
- Strong working understanding of Awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs).
- Practical experience with payroll systems, time & attendance platforms, and/or HRIS.
- Proven success in managing intricate payroll operations for both Australia and New Zealand.
