About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our Mechanical & Piping team for a major construction project in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review technical documentation and ensure specifications are included in work packages and requisitions
  • Develop inspection records and verify suitability of personnel for inspection activities
  • Coordinate and undertake inspection activities and prepare inspection records
  • Monitor completion of quality records and initiate corrective or preventive action as required
  • Assist with resolution and close out of technical non-conformances
  • Prepare status reports and assemble cost control and statistical data

Requirements:

  • Experience in heavy industry/construction environment
  • Previous experience in mechanical & piping quality control role
  • Appropriate trade and technical qualifications
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office suite and QC database
  • AS9001 knowledge
  • Site experience in operations, construction, and commissioning
  • Responsible health safety security and environmental attitude
