Quality Assurance SpecialistJob Overview:
At our organization, we are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of grain receival via road and rail, maintaining grain quality recording systems during the storage period, and collaborating with operational staff to outturn grain to domestic and export customers in accordance with specified quality and quarantine requirements.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and classify grain receival via road and rail
  • Maintain grain quality recording systems during the storage period
  • Collaborate with operational staff to outturn grain to domestic and export customers
  • E nsure that grain quality and related systems at port operate at a satisfactory level
Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of grain receival, outturn standards, and grain quality testing systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills, including customer relationship management skills
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, databases, and systems)
  • Experience in similar lab environments, ideally grain-related is highly beneficial
