Job Opportunity: Industrial Relations Expert

As an industrial relations expert, you will be part of a high-impact environment driving innovation and delivering next-generation payroll systems. This role requires substantial expertise in interpreting complex enterprise agreements and ensuring effective compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draw on analytical skills and attention to detail to design comprehensive testing regimes and robust review processes.
  • Collaborate with departments to clarify and action compliance requirements, coordinate with project managers to ensure milestones are met, and engage with IT professionals to translate IR needs into technical solutions.
  • Use experience engaging with unions and a strong understanding of union priorities and practices to drive effective remediation processes.
  • Take a proactive approach to identifying gaps, proposing enhancements, and documenting outcomes to contribute to the integrity and success of the new system.
Requirements:
  • Considerable experience in industrial/employee relations including specialist expertise in employment law.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll, a detailed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, and a proven track record of successfully implementing compliance measures within large organisations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tertiary qualified with a degree in Employee/Industrial Relations/Human Resources/Law or related discipline.
