Senior Archivist Role

This is a key position in the delivery of services to support legislative requirements, internal policies and cultural heritage.

The incumbent will manage records donations and transfers to RMIT University Archives, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Additionally, the Senior Archivist will coordinate the annual disposal program, ensuring that all non-essential records are properly disposed of in accordance with RMIT's retention and disposal policy.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You must also have strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

You will work closely with other teams across the university to deliver these services, including the Library, Estates and Facilities, and Information Technology.
