Job Title: Conference Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Conference Coordinator. This is a key role in managing high-volume reservations for conferencing, entertainment, sports, corporate, and wedding groups across Minor Hotel properties in Australia and New Zealand.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage group reservations by liaising with tour/booking agents.
- Manage booking packages and deals offered.
- Focus on the conversion of booking enquiries.
- Assist with sales administration tasks as required.
- Manage group booking organizers and handover to hotel team.
- Support the Revenue, onsite MICE Teams, and Sales Team as required.
Requirements:
- Experience in customer relationship management systems (CMS) is well regarded.
- Knowledge of hotel front office operations is desirable.
- A high level of attention to details and ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to take initiative.
- Highly developed communication and relationship building skills.
- Effective planning and organizational skills.
