Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a skilled mechanical fitter to undertake the delivery of work orders, fault finding, repairs and servicing of mechanical equipment across our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform allocated work orders
  • Service, repair and inspect assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes & winches etc
  • Document work progressions within the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network including attendance to pre-start meetings
  • Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, policy and procedures
  • Reporting activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery

Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical trade across large maintenance programs and networks
  • Experience in servicing technical mechanical assets, actuators, gearboxes and pumps
  • Current C-Class Driver Licence
  • Trade Mechanical certificate
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity)
  • First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity)
  • Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity)
  • Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205, MSMPER200 (3-year validity)
  • Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity)
