About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our enthusiastic and passionate allied health team in Melbourne. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a critical role in identifying and implementing evidence-based intervention approaches and strategies that are holistic, client-centred, and outcome-driven.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments to inform intervention planning.
- Develop and implement behaviour support plans that align with the Disability Services Standards, NDIS, and other relevant legislative requirements.
- Utilise a range of assessment tools and techniques to support clients and stakeholders in developing and reviewing support plans.
- Advocate for clients, their carers, and families to enable choice and decision-making that supports independence and quality of life.
- Work within a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of therapists.
