Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Node.js and React, as well as experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with a talented team, and develop your skills further.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Node.js and React applications.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement technical specifications.
  • Utilize AWS cloud services to architect, deploy, and manage scalable and fault-tolerant applications.
  • Build containerized microservices using Docker and manage them on AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS).
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, both independently and in a team setting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven hands-on experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a strong background in Node.js and React development.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of containerization with Docker and hands-on experience with managing containerized services on ECS.
  • Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Sumo Logic or Dynatrace to ensure high application availability and performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze and optimize code for performance and efficiency.
  • Experience working on large-scale, distributed systems and understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
