We are seeking a talented professional to lead our Smart Mobility team in Sydney and contribute to the development of smart, efficient, and environmentally friendly transportation systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-disciplinary engineering and transport planning projects within a consultancy. A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, transport planning, or a related field is required.

The role requires strong leadership skills to drive the growth strategy for the Smart Mobility team, work closely with our Global Smart Mobility team, and lead transport planning projects of varying sizes and complexity in Australia.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with business associates and partners, providing technical leadership to junior and mid-level engineers and transport planners, and mentoring team members to support their career aspirations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong client network in NSW, particularly relationships with TfNSW, NSW councils, and developers. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the growth strategy for the Smart Mobility team in Sydney.
  • Work closely with our Global Smart Mobility team.
  • Lead transport planning projects of varying sizes and complexity in Australia, with support from the global team.
  • Collaborate with business associates and partners.
  • Provide technical leadership to junior and mid-level engineers and transport planners.
  • Mentor team members to support their career aspirations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong client network in NSW, particularly relationships with TfNSW, NSW councils, and developers.
  • Attend and participate in professional group meetings to stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of transport planning and modelling.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, transport planning, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years practical and relevant experience in the engineering and transport planning industry.
  • Ability to work in Australia.
