Job Overview

The successful candidate will oversee logistics, warehouse, and distribution strategies to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This includes managing 3rd party provider service levels to maintain high customer service standards across Australia.

  • Cycle Counts & Stocktakes: Plan and execute regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Inventory Management: Perform inventory reconciliations and variance reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Supplier & Customer Relations: Manage service levels and agreements with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Logistics Coordination: Liaise with transportation companies to arrange the collection and delivery of goods to customer and 3PL sites.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in the APAC Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align inventory and logistics strategies with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records through tracking, cycle counts, reconciliations, and master data analysis.
  • Logistics Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
