Requirements
  • Demonstrated minimum 5 years of experience in mental health practice.
  • Experience in comprehensive psychosocial assessments and clinical interventions.
  • Knowledge of forensic mental health principles and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including consultation, liaison, facilitation, and negotiation.

This is a multidisciplinary role that requires possession of relevant tertiary qualifications and registration as follows:

Nursing

Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA). Successful candidates must register their qualifications on eCredential.

Occupational Therapy

Approved degree in Occupational Therapy recognized for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia – Australian Association of Occupational Therapists. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA). Candidates must register their qualifications on eCredential.

Social Work

Approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
