Job Title: Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate mental health specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with children and their families, providing evidence-based early intervention and therapy services.

About the Opportunity
  • This is a full-time or part-time position available in Brighton, Melbourne.
Your Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients, incorporating strategies to support positive behavioral change.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  3. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective interventions.
  4. Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health topics, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and resilience.
  5. Maintain accurate records of client progress, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
  • Registration as a psychologist with the relevant state/territory board.
  • Proven experience working with children and families in a mental health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
