About the Opportunity- This is a full-time or part-time position available in Brighton, Melbourne.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients, incorporating strategies to support positive behavioral change.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective interventions.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health topics, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and resilience.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
- Registration as a psychologist with the relevant state/territory board.
- Proven experience working with children and families in a mental health setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
