About this role

You will provide essential and practical care to help older people live a comfortable and enjoyable life.

Our organisation is an Aged Care Facility based in a rural town, employing staff across many different roles.

We are looking for Personal Care Workers to join our team to enlarge our Casual pool.

Whether you are experienced or new to the industry, we provide thorough and supportive training as well as a great induction to the Aged Care industry and the expectations and rights of our beloved residents.

The care work you'll be doing may include:

  • Providing personal care - showering, toileting, dressing and other personal cares
  • Providing manual handling support to team members, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for other staff and residents

About you

You are empathetic, patient, and solutions focused.

You may have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care.

Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, you can complete your Certificate III at no cost to you.
