Prison Services Specialist

As a Justice Officer, you will provide a range of services in a prison facility including warehouse, finance support, purchasing, procurement, stock/inventory control and general prison/prisoner services administration.
- Under the direction of the Team Leader – Justice Officers, provide Stores & Finance services to prisoners within prisoner shops/canteens.
- Directly supervise prisoner workers and ensure the security of shop stock, record keeping and cleanliness of the shop.
This position requires weekend and public holiday work. Please speak with the position contact regarding the hourly rate.
About YouTo be successful in this role you should have:
- Sound knowledge of legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations.
- Well-developed computer literacy and experience with finance related systems.
- An understanding of shop, store and warehousing operations including associated stock management.
