The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist or Senior (terrestrial) to join our close-knit team of industry leading professionals. As a key member of our team, you will partner with local and federal government, regulatory authorities, and private organisations to deliver high-quality expert advice and manage stakeholders.

About the Role

  • Supervise others and utilise your established contacts & networks for business development.
  • Deliver high-quality expert advice and manage stakeholders internally & externally.
  • Manage your own projects with support from other teams as needed.
  • Lead ecological field investigations, report preparation & biodiversity assessments across NSW.
  • Undertake broader environmental investigations and impact statements.

About You

We are looking for an established or emerging leader with:

  • Degree qualified ecologist with significant post-graduate experience (6+ years), preferably within a consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated botanical identification skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of relevant NSW and Commonwealth environmental legislation.
  • Sound experience within Sydney Basin ecology and undertaking ecological survey in the vegetation communities of NSW.
