About This Role:

This is a dynamic support position for the buying team. The Buyer Assistant will be responsible for delivering administrative support to the Buyers. Ideally, candidates will have prior experience in buying administration or as a trainee buyer.

The ideal candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail, analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the Buyers with all day-to-day administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner, including reports, data entry, presentations and stock transfers.
  • Maintain marketing templates.
  • Manage weekly press and store communications.
  • Contribute to the administration of weekly reports, including stock counts, wholesale stock transfers and SKU reports.
  • Assist Buyers in selecting product ranges and grading in line with business needs.
  • Support pre-analysis and reporting, range roll up and sign off preparation.
  • Attend range showings and provide documentation.

To Be Successful In This Position - You Will Need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or equivalent training.
  • Excel skills, data analysis, data entry and report management.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Able to create, plan, monitor and execute multiple reports.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills. Ability to problem solve and take initiative.
