IDAM Architect Job Description

This role involves designing, implementing, and managing Identity, Directory, and Access Management (IDAM) solutions using Saviynt. The IDAM Architect will evaluate, implement, and manage IAM platforms, as well as integrate Saviynt with enterprise systems, applications, and directories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and design IDAM solutions using Saviynt to meet business requirements.
  • Evaluate IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, ForgeRock, Azure AD, Ping Identity) to determine suitability for implementation.
  • Implement and manage IAM platforms, integrating Saviynt with enterprise systems, applications, and directories (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, SAP, ServiceNow, Workday).
  • Develop solutions for user provisioning, authentication, SSO, MFA, RBAC/ABAC, and identity governance.
  • Integrate IAM solutions with cloud and on-premise applications and infrastructure.
  • Lead assessments of security risks associated with identity and access controls.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to ensure alignment.
  • Develop policies, standards, and procedures for IAM across the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Cybersecurity or IT experience: 2+ years in a related field, preferably in an IAM architect or lead role.
  • Saviynt experience: Good understanding of architecture and implementation with Saviynt.
  • IAM protocols: Strong knowledge of IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, LDAP, Kerberos).
  • IAM platforms and directory services: Hands-on experience with leading IAM platforms and directory services.
  • Access management and governance: Expertise in access management, identity governance, and privileged access management (PAM).
  • Communication and documentation: Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
