Student Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Student Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the academic success of our students by providing efficient and professional support throughout their journey.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for student inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing accurate information with a friendly demeanor.
  • Maintaining student records meticulously, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Collaborating with academic and administrative teams to streamline processes, including enrolment, orientation, and graduation.
  • Assisting students with navigating university systems, procedures, and resources, offering guidance and support.
  • Maintaining detailed knowledge of academic policies, regulations, and best practices to provide well-informed advice and solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by analyzing feedback and implementing efficient processes.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in administration or student services, preferably in education.
  • Proficiency in student information systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and understanding of compliance, records management, and data integrity.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment and interact confidently with stakeholders.
  • Confidentiality when handling sensitive student information.
  • Knowledge of education policies, regulations, and best practices.
