The Senior Payroll Officer is a strategic role within our organization, responsible for delivering accurate and efficient payroll services.
The key responsibilities of this position include managing the full payroll cycle, from interpreting time and attendance data to preparing payroll system finalisation, banking, payroll clearing, and Single Touch Payroll reconciliation.
- Manage the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Interpret time and attendance data and prepare payroll system finalisation.
- Ensure compliance with legislative and industrial requirements.
- Oversee end-of-month reporting and reconciliations.
- Provide guidance and expertise to payroll team members, leaders, and employees on payroll-related matters.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in managing end-to-end payroll in a medium to large organisation. They must possess strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, and compliance requirements.
