Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Assistant to join our team at Anton Murray Consulting. As a Financial Services Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Private Client Advisors and their High Net Worth clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between our dealing desk, internal departments, external organizations, service agents, and clients to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide timely and accurate information to meet their needs.
  • Process and execute trades, manage bulk trades, and execute Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and collate information required for client meetings, including financial summaries, portfolio performance, and research reports.
  • Monitor and liaise with advisors on failed settlements and provide daily reports to ensure timely resolution.
  • Supervise self-managed super funds (SMSF) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with settlement queries and provide support to advisors on client matters.
  • Prepare daily Cash Management Trust (CMT) redemptions and lodgements of term deposits.
  • Assist with floats, IPOs, placements, and corporate actions, and provide support to advisors on these matters.
  • Provide advisors with post-meeting email updates to ensure clients are informed and up-to-date.
  • Provide clients' accountants with tax reports and liaise with them on reporting queries.
  • Quote market prices on indices, ordinary shares, and options.
  • Manage upcoming corporate actions, floats, and IPOs, and liaise with advisors on details, timelines, and participation.

Requirements

  • Previous customer and client relation experience within a professional environment, preferably within the stockbroking or wealth management industry.
  • Previous experience managing after-sales service and ongoing relationships, including client satisfaction levels and enhancing service levels.
  • Degree-qualified in a banking-related discipline.
  • RG 146 certification (ideally) or willingness to study for it.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes within a team.
  • Goal-oriented with demonstrated drive and initiative.
