Overview

Fisher Investments Australasia PTY Ltd (FIA) is seeking an experienced Investment Counsellor to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Private Client Group, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing them with expert investment advice and guidance.

The Opportunity

As an Investment Counsellor, you will have the opportunity to work with a globally diverse privately held investment firm that is committed to putting clients' interests first. You will partner with our internal portfolio decision-makers, research teams, and sales team to deliver exceptional client service and support. Our unique training program will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role.

The Day-to-Day
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing them with expert investment advice and guidance.
  • Educate clients on our top-down portfolio strategy, their investments, and important market events.
  • Proactively connect with clients on a quarterly basis to review their asset allocation and ensure we're on the right track toward their long-term financial goals.
  • Rely on our sales team to gradually build your roster of high-net-worth clients.
Your Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience creating and building new client relationships and instilling trust within the investment industry (RG146 strongly preferred) or completion of studies meeting RG 146 standard.
  • Knowledge of the Australian and/or New Zealand asset management industry, regulations, and procedures.
  • University degree, suitable graduate diplomas, or equivalent combination of experience.
  • Yield a thoughtful consultative approach with an emphasis on client focus.
