Occupational Therapist - Care Leader

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and skilled clinician to lead a team ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality client care, driving service development, and championing impactful continuous improvement activities and research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert clinical care across aged care settings through assessment, care planning, case management, and discharge coordination.
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentoring to staff, students, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Lead and contribute to service planning, aged care reform, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate workflows and service delivery to ensure safe, effective, and timely client care.
  • Build strong partnerships with community organisations and stakeholders to support integrated care

About You

You are a dedicated, compassionate Occupational Therapist with:

  • Highly developed clinical knowledge and experience in aged care and gerontology
  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation including the Aged Care Act, Mental Health Act, and other compliance frameworks
  • A proven ability to provide supervision, mentoring, and leadership to others
  • A commitment to delivering holistic, evidence-based, and consumer-centred care
  • An interest in service innovation, quality improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe consumer-focused care, providing specialist knowledge or depth of experience

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Current Victorian drivers licence
  • Current and satisfactory Aged Care Clearance (Police Check/Aged Care Worker Screen)
  • NDIS workers check
  • No current Aged Care Banning Orders in place (as per Register of Banning Orders)
  • Registration with State-Wide Equipment Program & registration with GEAT2Go is desirable
