Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced oncology nurse to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing support for our oncology patients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional cancer care to our patients and their families.
- Coordinating the administration of chemotherapy and supportive care treatments in a busy day hospital environment.
- Supporting and encouraging the development of less experienced nursing staff.
- Promoting clinical excellence with an emphasis on safe and high-quality nursing practice.
- Supporting implementation of new systems, therapies, and clinical trials.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
- Post-graduate oncology nursing qualification desirable.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Oncology Nursing.
- Chemotherapy competent with advanced level clinical knowledge and skills in managing haematology and oncology patients.
