Job Description

At our state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, we are seeking a skilled Packaging Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our packaging team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate packaging machines in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
  • Ensure packaging line is operating at optimal speed and efficiency.
  • Perform clean checks and line approvals to guarantee high-quality products.
  • Enter data into our SAP system accurately and efficiently.
  • Distinguish between poor and good quality product.
  • Use chemicals to clean equipment and tools while adhering to cleaning schedules and other priorities.
  • Understand the importance of PPE and ensure it is used correctly.
  • Clean rooms and equipment, and maintain a neat and tidy work environment.
  • Pack products as outlined in batch packaging documents and complete all relevant documentation.
  • Store and transfer bulk tablets, packaging components, and packed product appropriately.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a similar environment (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Neat handwriting.
  • Initiative and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions.
  • Calculator skills for mathematical problem-solving.
  • Interpretation and plotting of numbers on charts.
  • Understanding of the importance of following Standard Operating Procedures.
