Professional Project Officer for State Government Agency

As a Professional Project Officer, you will be working with First Nations people, communities, and organisations to deliver relationship management support, engagement advice and on-ground insights in collaboration with the company First Nations Policy and Engagement teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing project management support and administration skills, including contractual and financial reporting requirements within the program's portfolio.
- Contributing to Cultural Safety for First Nations people and company staff.
- Developing accurate and persuasive briefs, correspondence and communication materials as required.
Requirements:
- Ability to take accountability for organising your own workflow and developing and maintaining internal and external relationships.
- Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders on policy, project or operational issues and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Ability to monitor, evaluate, and report processes for the program.
- Ability to make decisions within defined parameters relating to the area of responsibility, based on a well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
- You will bring an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and an ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
About the Position
This position is located in multiple regions and offers a hybrid work from home arrangement with a minimum of 40% attendance in office. The successful candidate will have an immediate start and possible extensions available.
