The Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our client's team in NSW. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for assembling aluminium components in accordance with work instructions and drawings provided by supervisors and production staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble aluminium components in accordance with work instructions and drawings
  • Conduct work in line with standard job builds and SOPs
  • Build jobs as directed by supervisors and production staff, ensuring work is built to appropriate standards and within time constraints
  • Report broken or damaged machinery, ensuring all problems are tagged out correctly
  • Weld and fabricate as required and to specifications
  • Abide by company health and safety policies and government regulations
  • Participate in staff consultation and communications, such as toolbox talks and training

Requirements

  • Trade-qualified in a relevant industry
  • Health and safety training is desirable
  • Extensive fabrication experience
  • Understanding of safe work practices
  • Good ability to communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail

What We Offer

  • $65,000-$90,000 per annum, depending on work experience
  • 5 full-time positions available
  • Opportunity to work with a leading semi-trailer manufacturer

Working Conditions

  • Lift, carry, and maneuver material and equipment through physical and mechanical means
  • Wear specialized protective equipment
  • Perform general physical activities, including climbing, balancing, sitting, and walking
  • Perform whole-body movements, including twisting, squatting, kneeling, bending, and crawling
  • Perform sustained physical activities
  • Operate both handheld tooling and heavier machinery
  • Work at height or within a confined space
