Wind Turbine Technician Job

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations and maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our wind farms.

In this role, you will conduct scheduled servicing and repairs, as well as perform periodic inspections and monitoring of wind farm assets. You will be part of a well-staffed site with fellow technicians, HV operators/senior technicians, a lead technician, and dedicated site supervisors.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines.
  • Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of wind farm assets.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A mechanical or electrical trade qualification (preferably) along with high voltage certification, Global Wind Organisation training, and qualifications in working at heights, safety, manual handling, high/low voltage rescue, fire awareness, and first aid.
  • Experience as a technician in the operations and maintenance of wind farms or similar power generation/industrial sites.
  • Willingness to work at heights and in confined environments.
  • A valid Victorian or South Australian driver's license (dependent on asset location).
