This role is focused on leading and managing the commissioning process for renewable energy projects, ensuring seamless execution and successful project delivery.
- Duties:
- Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans and procedures for projects.
- Lead and manage day-to-day commissioning activities, fostering a collaborative environment among multi-discipline teams.
- Plan, resource, and coordinate commissioning efforts effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, OEMs, and site teams, for smooth handover and testing.
- Drive progress through daily war room meetings and strategic risk management initiatives.
- Maintain alignment with project control teams to ensure timely completion of key milestones.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a recognized equivalent industry experience.
- Substantial experience in testing and commissioning, preferably within the renewable or utilities sector.
- Proven leadership skills, with expertise in managing technical staff and fostering a One-Team approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
