Job Title: ETF Middle Office Professional

We are seeking an experienced ETF Middle Office Professional to join our team in Sydney. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will give you the opportunity to work with a leading financial institution and be part of a dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of the ETF trade lifecycle, including position reconciliations, ensuring trades are captured in an efficient and timely manner, and positions are accurate and reconciled to external brokers. You will also produce accurate daily Profit and Loss for the trading team and ensure a strong control framework throughout the complete trade life cycle.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years' experience in Profit and Loss reporting within financial markets, as well as an in-depth knowledge of ETF life cycle, handling trade flow through to settlement. Knowledge of SQL, VBA, and Python would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Reconciliation of position, cash, and trade activity prior to Market open
  2. Reconciliation of front office estimates to various broker reporting
  3. Analysing various accruals including interest, internal capital charge, borrow expenses, brokerage fees & rebates etc.
  4. Managing fund transfers across brokers including cross-border transfers for restricted currency
  5. Understanding and cross-checking Prime Broker Margin & OTC Collateral policies/models
  6. Manage life cycle of ETF creations and redemptions
  7. Act as liaison between operation, traders, and all internal departments, as well as brokers
  8. Support the business in its growth and expansion into new products and markets
