Total Earth Care is seeking a skilled Environmental Restoration Specialist to work in the Sydney's Train network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting on-ground ecological restoration, focusing on weed management and conservation in a rail corridor environment.

This role requires a commitment to safety, environmental sensitivity, and the ability to work effectively in varied outdoor conditions.

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 3 days availability (Wed/ Thu/ Fri)
  • White Card
  • Current drivers' licence and your own transport (preferably some experience in driving a manual vehicle/4WD)
  • AQF3 (required for Level 3 and above)
  • First Aid (desirable)
  • RIW Card (desirable)

The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of revegetation methods or demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn best-practice techniques. They will also have strong plant identification skills and be able to recognize and differentiate between native plant species and common invasive weeds.

This is a casual position with a guaranteed minimum of 22.8 hours per week. The role involves working Monday to Friday with occasional overtime.
