Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading planning strategies across landholdings, ensuring timely and commercially aligned approvals that maximise land value.

You will lead engagement with stakeholders, rezonings, and approvals, working closely with the General Manager of Development while collaborating with government agencies and consultant teams to achieve strategic outcomes.

  • Define and deliver planning strategies across landholdings.
  • Lead structure planning, rezoning processes, and stakeholder engagement for strategic sites.
  • Build and leverage strong relationships with government agencies and authorities.
  • Manage and coordinate external planning consultants to ensure value-for-fee outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate planning risks early to support feasibility and acquisitions.
  • Monitor policy and infrastructure changes to position the company advantageously.
  • Support the General Manager on broader project delivery and acquisitions.

  • Established relationships with government agencies and stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen and an understanding of how planning impacts feasibility.
  • Experience managing consultants and multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • A collaborative, proactive style with the ability to influence high-value outcomes.
  • Experience within a development organisation will be highly regarded.
