Executive Financial Strategist

Overview:
A leading not-for-profit organisation seeks an exceptional Executive Financial Strategist to drive comprehensive financial leadership across all organisational functions. The successful candidate will develop and execute integrated operational strategies that support the organisation's mission, strategic objectives, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the CEO and Executive Team to shape the strategic direction and support effective execution of strategic plans.
• Provide strategic subject matter advice on operational matters and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve organisational effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to support financial planning and resource allocation processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to inform business development and decision-making.
• Identify and implement cost-optimisation strategies and lead the Foundation's strategic and organisational risk management.
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate services, operational, or finance roles with substantial experience working with and advising Board and Committee members.
• Advanced financial acumen and strategic thinking, including expertise in financial planning and analysis, investment evaluation, and risk management.
• Proven track record in organisational transformation, revenue growth, and inorganic growth.
• Demonstrated success in technology integration and digital strategy, as well as change management and operational excellence.
• Experience in not-for-profit or mission-driven organisations is highly desirable.
