Job Title: Accounts and Administration Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts and Administration Manager to provide financial management services and support business growth in a dynamic and innovative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial reports, preparing and lodging GST and PAYG matters, and managing stakeholder relationships. Additionally, they will provide strategic input and analysis to support decision making and facilitate business growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Ensure all financial reporting is completed in a timely and accurate fashion, providing the Managing Director and Board with financial reports and advice for business segments.
  • Accounting Services: Prepare and lodge GST and PAYG matters, and prepare and review statutory reporting and income tax obligations.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Manage key supplier relationships, including banking and insurance.
  • Strategic Input: Provide analysis to support decision making and facilitate business growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Professional certification - CA / CPA highly desirable.
  • Licence: Current C-class Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance.
  • Demonstrated Experience: Demonstrated experience in accounting related roles preferably within a commercial environment.
  • Skill Set: Strong hands-on management skills and experience, intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite, including intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, demonstrated experience in accounting software packages, exposure to ERP systems and business intelligence tools will be looked upon favourably.
