About This Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team at Orygen Youth Prevention & Recovery Care (YPARC).

">

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting young people aged 15-25 who are stepping up/down to intervene early and prevent further deterioration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead clinical interventions, mental health risk assessment, formulation and treatment planning">
  • Escalate care by liaising with other services within our organization and community services">
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, sharing discipline-specific insight, supervision and training">
  • Collaborate with lived experience workforce and families/carers to support young people with their recovery goals">
  • Provide inclusive and sensitive practice to young people and their families/carers from diverse backgrounds">

About You:

We are looking for applicants with:

">
  • ">
  • At least 2 years' experience in mental health and advanced clinical skills">
  • Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Registered Psychiatric Nurse or Psychologist qualifications and registration">
  • Knowledge of mental health systems, common issues faced by young people, and evidence-based treatments for major adolescent health issues">
