Job Description:

As a Technical Program Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring effective collaboration across multiple squads and work is aligned to deliver the product roadmap and achieve outcomes. You will ensure all work is transparent and well managed, providing an escalation point when necessary to facilitate effective delivery and remove impediments for the team. You will build, manage, and execute Quarterly Plans, ensuring all required people (technology and business) in product and platform teams are engaged and procured in line with stakeholder expectations and Bupa processes. You will also utilize agile and lean delivery metrics to provide insight and feedback on team performance in line with achievement of objectives. Additionally, you will collaborate with the team to identify and improve ways of working to improve delivery performance, and contribute to Product Delivery excellence and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective collaboration across multiple squads and work is aligned to deliver the product roadmap and achieve outcomes.
• Ensure all work is transparent and well managed, providing an escalation point when necessary to facilitate effective delivery and remove impediments for the team.

Requirements:

• Strong adaptive leadership and management skills, coupled with expertise in agile portfolio and program management or strategy/business planning.
• Ability to directly manage a team of Delivery Managers/Business Analysts and collaborate with the appropriate teams to ensure performance management, standards, and people career growth are a priority.
• Experience in portfolio management, program management, or strategy/business planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies and lean delivery metrics.
• Strong knowledge of business processes and systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Experience in managing budgets and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of technology risks and issues management.
• Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and psychological safety within the product team and across the organization.
• Strong knowledge of business unit level strategies, standards, and expectations.
• Ability to stay connected and actively contribute to Bupa's product delivery approach and relevant frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of delivery SMEs and other relationships that will facilitate navigation of the Bupa working environment.
• Ability to travel as required.
